Human trafficking is considered a crime in more than 175 countries. The average punishment for this crime around the world is a few years in jail and most countries charge a large fine as well. However, many countries are still in denial about the fact that this crime against humans is actually happening. Because of this denial and other people turning a blind eye to this issue, Angel Studios released a film titled Sound of Freedom which has opened the eyes of many people around the United States.
In their 2023 movie, Angel Studios acknowledged some statistics about human trafficking during the film, and afterward in their end credits that were only shown in theaters. Needless to say, Angel Studios has significantly helped raise awareness for human trafficking with the help of their inspiring movie.
