Genesis Reyes-Lopez, Contributor

Hello, my name is Genesis and I am a senior this year at Santa Maria Highschool, and this is my first year as a Breeze contributor.

I am the oldest out of three kids. I am 17 years old and I was born on June 26th. I choose to take Journalism because I was curious about what journalists do and how they can create many stories out of everyday scenarios.

Outside of school I like watching action and thriller movies. I also like to read books, especially about history. I enjoy listening to music I enjoy all genres and am open to new music recommendations. My favorite color is green, and I enjoy taking pictures of nature. In my spare time I like to go to the beach or spend time with family and friends.

One of my favorite things is going to Starbucks and study there. I feel like I get more work done there, and I also get to enjoy some coffee while being there. My favorite drinks are probably a chocolate cream cold brew and an iced green tea with strawberry base.
