Spanish teachers and students put together altars to honor those who have passed on. Some people brought pictures of family or their pets who have passed on. One of the altars was created by the GSA club to represent the passings in the LGBTQ community.  They had artwork from the students taking the art class we offer here on campus on the walls. The video linked above is all the alters they had set up in the gallery.

Nico Parker, Editor
My name is Nico Parker. I write poetry and song lyrics. I am currently teaching myself to play guitar. I am class of 2025. I have been an AVID student since 7th grade. I've been writing poetry since 9th grade and song lyrics since 5th grade.  I would describe myself as creative, determined, empathetic, understanding, and a leader. I value my writing because creativity is easy to demonstrate in writing. I plan to use my writing to become an author and/or a musician in the future. Top colleges I would like to attend after high school include New York University and Northridge.
