Hi, my name is Aida Perez and I am one of the contributors for The Breeze. This is my 2nd year being part of The Breeze and it feels quite nice.I’m currently a senior at Santa Maria High School, and I’m going to be part of The Breeze for 2023-2024 school year. I’m hoping that we’ll keep on making progress for the website and make it the best in 2023 and my last year in 2024.

At SMHS I work in the cafeteria as a little side job along with another part-time job out of school. I’ve been working there since the end of my sophomore year.

My top three favorite movies would be: “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Can’t Buy Me Love” and “Love Rosie.”

During my spare time, (if I’m not working) I like to skate and go around discovering new places (stores, parks, restaurants, thrift stores) while taking pictures. I don’t mind if it’s far, I’m still down to go for an adventure since I don’t like wasting my time, I feel like if I don’t do anything when I’m free, I’m wasting my time. I also like to draw on sidewalks (using chalk).

This year, I’m currently trying to do most of the things I want to do, I wanna live without having any regrets. Even if things don’t go the way I want them to, I don’t get discouraged, I just move on with my life. And keep on fighting for what I want to do, if I’m passionate about it.
