Home Sweet Home Alone is similar to the original movies in the sense that the child is left alone at home during the holidays while robbers are trying to get into their house.

Some of the events that occurred would not have been possible in the real world. In a wealthy neighborhood, your neighbors would notice if people were trying to break into your house even if you just moved in a couple of weeks ago.

There was some sweetness involved around halfway through the movie after all the misunderstandings were out of the way, but I just can’t move on from the dangerous traps that were used and how it was forgiven later on and even used as something funny to think back to.

Compared to the original “Home Alone” movies, this one was a lot more violent. The movie was funny but a little extra. Some of the traps that (main character) Max used could have been life-threatening. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured as the movie is rated PG. If you want to watch this movie with younger kids, just stick to the original.
