Last week, from April 15th to April 19th, our school entered a testing schedule geared towards our Sophomores and Juniors. With the Seniors nearing the end of their high school journey and no more testing on their agenda, Mrs. Tanner, Assistant Principal Goldin, and other staff members came together to orchestrate a memorable week for our Seniors.
Beginning with Monday, the breakfast serving went by smoothly and quickly, with many Seniors showing up. The entire week there was financial aid there to help all the Seniors who still needed assistance. Along with that our class councilors were on site for counseling and to support our Senior students. There was a decorating station on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. You were able to decorate your own gold star that will be hung up for prom to follow the theme being, “A Night with the Stars”. Along with that there was a Polaroid station to take your picture and have it hung up on a wall for prom as well.
One of the most exciting parts of last week was out class panoramic picture. Although it was hot, and the sun was in all of our faces the memory stands. With one of our class officers, making a poster with our catchphrase saying, “Out the Door in 24”, this wrapped the picture together as we all sat down on the bleachers for our class picture. For Wednesday, and Thursday there was activities to do outside. With that we also played Napoleon Dynamite on a classroom screen which was a little inconvenient for the amount of people sitting on the bleachers inside.
As of Friday, there’s not much to say as most of our Seniors presented us with a special magic trick and disappeared.
