It was hand-painted by Pat Naoum, he spent over 7 years on it! He enjoyed sitting down, scrapping the game, and sculpting it, that’s what he found enjoyable.

The Master’s Pupil won Excellence in Art at the Australian Game Developers Award and was recognized by the AGDA that is run down by IGEA. They’re grounded as Australian promoters who help other Australia games, and Industries, to give them recognition.
Sadly, he wasn’t able to be there to receive his award but his brother Zac Naoum, accepted the award on behalf of his brother Pat Naoum. But he prepared a speech, and Zac nailed the speech at the ceremony, he thanked everyone who helped him design the game and his parents.
“Thanks to my parents, Diane and John Paul Naoum. Who always told me, do what you want to do, they told us that success or money doesn’t matter. As long as you spend your time doing something that you love,” said Zac Naoum through the speech Pat Naoum had.
Basically do what you want to do, usually when you do a job for fame or just for money, oftentimes you don’t find it enjoyable. People usually, tend to strive for more success when they do what they love doing, which is following their passion.
They were nominated for the AGDA award and were awarded the Excellence in Art at the Australian Game Developers Awards (Pat Naoum).
