GENERAL
 Saints! Happy Random Act of Kindness Week! Participate with our friends, teachers, and staff. You will find positive
quotes throughout the school, take one or give one to someone special! Remember, become the hardest working person
you know.
 Attention Seniors! Congratulations we have now filled TWO buses for GradNite! Let’s fill Bus #3 with the remaining (3
seats!) Bring your contracts and your payments to the Business office as soon as possible, we will only take a full bus,
don’t miss out! Once 3 rd bus is full, a “wait list” will begin for a 4 th bus.
 Students who are interested in taking the ASVAB test, the test will be administered on campus, April 24th immediately after
school. Please see Ms. Washington in the Career Center to sign up.
 Attention All OTCR Students: If you have been referred to OTCR and have not completed all your courses, please see Ms.
Olsen in the MMLC at Lunch or after school. You must work daily until you finish your OTCR courses.
 Attention staff and all students: do you want to make sure you have your yearbook this year?  Order by February 25th to
ensure you’re in the preorders!  After February, we expect to sell out, so there will be zero guarantees that you’ll get your
book.
 Attention seniors. Please stop by room 112 at some point to make sure we have your senior picture! We will be turning in
these yearbook pages very soon and want to make sure you’re pictured!
CLUBS
 The ART club meets every Friday at lunch in Mrs. Greene’s room 525. Join us today and bring a friend!
 Attention all CSF members! Applications are due no later than Feb. 24th in room 514. That means they must be turned in to
Mrs. Springer by this Monday. Don’t miss out on wearing the gold CSF cord your senior year because you didn’t turn in
your application.
 Attention FFA members. If you have checked out an FFA Jacket from the Ag Department so that you could participate in
public speaking, the MFE & ALA Conferences, or any other event, the time has come to return it to avoid getting charged.
Please return all the borrowed jackets as soon as possible. Thanks, and we hope to see you soon!
 Attention staff and students! Key Club is hosting its annual blood drive on Wednesday, March 5th. Help save a life and
donate blood. Come to room 355 to get more information and sign up for an appointment or talk to Mrs. Lombardi-Hyder.
The donation bus will be available from 8:30 to 1:30. You can make a difference!
SPORTS
 Boys Golf: It’s not too late to join the boy’s golf team. For information, stop by Room 523 at lunch TODAY. Freshmen and
sophomores are especially encouraged to join.
 Congratulations to the Boys Soccer Team on their 3-1 win in the CIF Semi-Finals game against Clovis North!
Today at 6:00 pm, they will play against Central High School in the CIF Final at 6:00 pm here at SMHS. Come out and
support the boys’ soccer team tonight! The cost for CIF games is $8 with no school ID or $6 with a school ID.
